Norm's Skipjack

Hi all!

Many of you should remember long time MMYC member Norman Watkins. He recently moved to St. Michaels. Well evidently, he didn't stop sailing model boats. Here is an article from the local paper there highlighting the local sailing club and their racing of model skipjacks. You will see Norman in several pics in this article. Norman prior to moving completed a model Skipjack he had been building on and off for several years. A picture of it the day of its unveiling is also attached. Truely a beautiful boat! He had Danny Thomas make him sails for it. Besides having good sails, he must have built it very well, as he also won the Club skipjack championship last year.

He is also on track this year to repeat!

Now we have to lure him back to sail with us!
